Welcome to HelpWithDocument

HelpWithDocument provides free online PDF and document-processing tools. These Terms & Conditions explain the conditions for using our website and services. By accessing or using HelpWithDocument, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

HelpWithDocument provides free tools for converting, editing, organising, compressing, extracting and managing PDF and other document formats.

Depending on the tool, processing may take place directly in your browser or through temporary server processing.

Our tools are designed to assist with document-related tasks and are not intended to replace specialist professional services or permanent document storage.

2. Using Our Free Tools

Our free tools are available without requiring account registration.

Users must access and use the services lawfully and responsibly. Reasonable technical limits may apply to file sizes, processing volumes and service availability.

Automated bulk processing, scraping, deliberate overloading or attempts to bypass technical restrictions are not permitted without authorisation.

3. Your Documents & Permissions

You retain ownership of documents uploaded or processed through HelpWithDocument.

By using our tools, you confirm that you own or have the necessary rights, permissions or authority to upload, convert, edit or otherwise process the documents.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of documents does not infringe copyright, confidentiality, privacy or other applicable legal rights.

4. Document Processing & Download Availability

Documents are processed to perform the action selected by the user.

Completed files are available for download for 2 hours, with an additional 30 minutes where the More Time option is available.

Once the download period ends, access expires and temporary files are cleared through our cleanup procedures. Where available, users may delete files earlier.

HelpWithDocument is a document-processing service and not a permanent storage or backup facility.

5. Your Responsibilities

Users are responsible for keeping their original documents, checking converted results, downloading completed files and managing documents after conversion.

You are responsible for protecting, storing, deleting and sharing personal, public and shared documents appropriately.

Please review converted documents before using, publishing, submitting or sharing them, particularly where accuracy or formatting is important.

6. Document Processing Results

HelpWithDocument provides tools intended to make document processing simple and convenient.

Results may vary depending on the original document's format, quality, structure, fonts, images and compatibility.

Users should check that completed documents meet their requirements before relying on them.

7. Responsible Use

You must not use HelpWithDocument for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or unauthorised purposes.

You must not upload malicious software, interfere with website operations, attempt unauthorised access, bypass security restrictions or use the service to infringe another person's rights.

HelpWithDocument may restrict access or processing where reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users or applicable legal rights.

8. Privacy & Security

HelpWithDocument handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.

Our Security page explains temporary file processing, download availability and document-handling responsibilities.

Users are responsible for taking appropriate precautions when uploading, downloading, storing or sharing their documents.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Security page for further information.

9. Website Content & Intellectual Property

The HelpWithDocument website, software, designs, branding and original website content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Using our tools does not transfer ownership of website software or intellectual property to users.

Documents submitted by users remain their property or the property of their respective rights holders.

10. Service Availability & Responsibility

HelpWithDocument may update, improve or maintain its free tools to support website functionality and performance.

Temporary interruptions, technical problems or variations in document-processing results may occasionally occur.

Users are responsible for retaining their original documents and reviewing completed files before relying on them.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, HelpWithDocument is not responsible for losses arising from users' unauthorised document submissions, failure to retain originals or subsequent handling, storage or sharing of processed files.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

11. Changes & Applicable Law

HelpWithDocument may update these Terms to reflect changes in its services, functionality or applicable legal requirements.

Updated Terms will be published on this page with the latest revision date.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections applicable to users in other jurisdictions.
